Georgia Amoore Crowned Ballarat SAA Sports Girl of the Year

On Thursday March 8, Georgia Amoore was awarded the 2017  Ballarat Sportsman Association of Australia Sports Girl of the Year,

Georgia enjoyed a successful 2017 in basketball playing across all levels including local domestic, elite, state and national teams. Her nomination and achievements are listed below.

 

Congratulation to Georgia, and we can’t wait to see her back on the court tonight for the Thrifty U/18 Rush as they begin their VJBL season.

Georgia Amoore Bio

16 year old Georgia is a high achieving basketball player with local club Exies Acmy who has moved her way through the Basketball Ballarat Junior Elite Teams pathway into Country Victorian and Australian representative teams.

Georgia attends Ballarat Clarendon College and in 2018 will start her VCE. Her current GPA is 3.0. Georgia is a hard worker at school and in Basketball and in 2018 will represent Ballarat in the Thrifty u/18 Rush, McDonalds Ballarat Youth League Rush and Skoda Ballarat Rush teams. She will also continue to push for Country Victoria and Australian representative teams all while completing her schooling.
