About Ballarat Basketball

The Ballarat Basketball Association is one of the largest and most successful sporting Associations in Victoria . It offers a wide range of services and opportunities for the people of Ballarat and surrounding districts

The local domestic competition sees over 2000 players competing in around 50 different competitions each week ranging from A Grade through to Social Grades for boys; girls; men; women and mixed teams. There are also Ladies Daytime competitions and Aussie Hoops development programs for beginners.

In connection with the Ballarat Basketball Club , the association also caters for many representative teams that compete in statewide and national leagues each year. These include the Ballarat Junior Representative Program (BRP);
SEABL Miners & Lady Miners Teams; SEABL D League Miners & Lady Miners Teams; and Prospectors team for players with an intellectual disability.

Our stadium, the WIN MINERDOME, also caters for quite a diverse range of activities and events each year. Such events include National Junior Basketball Tournaments, International Exhibition Matches and Tournaments, Dance Sports, Comedians, Concerts, Shows, Fairs and much, much more!
