WSEC Netball

Local Playing Conditions

• Uniform – all tops & bottoms must be of matching colour (ie all players must present in the same uniform), skirts are required for Ladies A Competitions, shorts (no pockets) allowable for women in Mixed Competitions.
• No Track-suit pants – unless Medical Statement is presented.
• Gloves or tape on nails permitted in all grades.
  
• Jewellery in general is to be removed. Exceptions are allowed for flat wedding ring, medic alert bracelet and piercings for which it is impracticable to remove. All exceptions must be taped.
• No games will be scheduled on Public Holidays.

UMPIRES

• Umpires are an essential part of any given sport therefore we acknowledge the asset that they are in running a successful netball competition.
• It is expected that all new and existing players participating in this competition conduct themselves in a reasonable manner while on court and at the sidelines.
• Courtesy and respect for those officiating must be adhered to by all players and spectators at all times. Any matters in breach will be dealt with immediately, and will likely result in a stadium ban.
• If you feel that you have the skills to become a netball umpire, or know of anyone that has the ability please contact the competition coordinator as umpires are always sought after.
