Finding a team
All you need to do is provide Ballarat Basketball with your basic details (Name, Gender, DOB, Address and Phone #).
You can do this by filling in your details below.
OR visit our office at the Minerdome (Cnr Grevillea Rd & Dowling St, Wendouree 3355).
There are 7 Major Clubs participating in Ballarat Basketball competitions, we will find the right club for you. We select a club based on where you live or you can nominate a preferred club if you have friends or family already playing.
What are the costs involved with playing?
Before you take the court in your first game you must register with Ballarat Basketball, fill in a rego card and pay the $10 fee.
At each game you then purchase a ticket to play, juniors ($7) and seniors ($57.50 per team sheet).
Clubs also have fees, and this varies from club to club. Club fees predominantly cover the cost of venue hire for training, as well as basic administration expenses of the club including team entry fees and uniforms.
What nights are competitions played?
If you select the Fixtures/Results tab on the left menu of the website you will be able to see what days, certain age groups and divisions play on. Ballarat Basketball conducts underage competitions, therefore if you are turning 16 this year, you would play U18's.The competition grade, ie A, B or C refers to the standard of competition, if you are just beginning you would be suited to C - Grade.
