Ladies Basketball Supporting Local Charity

Ballarat Basketball Ladies Daytime competition made the decision a few seasons ago that they would donate their trophy money each season to a charity. The ladies have now donated to various charities such as 3ba Christmas Appeal, the Make a Wish Foundation and the Heart Foundation.

This season it was a unanimous decision to donate to the local On Track Foundation which operates the Soup Bus service in Ballarat.

The SoupBus provides an after-dark meal service of soup and bread to Ballarat’s homeless and less fortunate through the cooperation and support of the Ballarat community.

Ballarat Basketball’s Ladies Daytime competition is delighted to be able to support the On Track Foundation’s SoupBus.

On Track Foundation member Jo Fogarty accepted the cheque on their behalf.
