BRP Coaches Announced for 2009/10 season

The Ballarat Basketball Association’s Junior Representative Program has announced its new line-up of coaches for the 2009/2010 season. With many of the coaches continuing from previous seasons and the addition of some exciting new faces, the program will look to become even stronger than before.

Under a new structure all coaches will be under the direction of newly appointed Elite Performance Manager and Miners Head Coach, Guy Molloy.

Continuing on from last year Daniel Sutton will be the head coach of the under 18 boys, with Tim Stewart and, new recruit, Grant Spencer in the assistant roles. The under 18 girls will see 2009 Lady Nuggets coach Rob Baker take the role of head coach with assistance from Tahni Nestor and Laura Bailey, current players of the Lady Nuggets.

Other new coaches will include Chris Thornton (U/16 boys Assist.), Kelly Richardson (U/16 girls Assist.), Travis Hewish (U/14 boys Head Coach), Andrew Mallet (U/14 girls Assist.) and Trent Piera (U/12 boys Assist).

The remainder of the positions being filled by Darren Thomas (U/16 boys Head Coach), Glenn White (U/16 girls Head Coach), Dennis Foley (U/14 boys Assist.), Jill Appleton (U/14 girls Head Coach), Michael Agnew (U/12 boys Head Coach), Kristy Jose (U/12 girls Head Coach) and Di Nevett (U/12 girls Assist.)
