Jamal Brown - Week 3 Player of the Week
The change of teams in the off-season has been a sensational decision for 29 year old Baltimore, USA native Jamal Brown. After four seasons with Geelong, Jamal transferred to Ballarat this summer and has been an instant success.
Brown was sensational in the Miners 104-90 road victory in Mt Gambier, recording 31pts@60%, 19rebs, 3ass, 3stls and 1blk. Jamal was a major factor for the Miners at both ends of floor, playing 39mins and containing Pioneers import Parham to only 8pts.
Brown is currently averaging 28pts and 19.5rebs, all above his career average in his first two games this season.
