The Ballarat Basketball Club Inc. today announced the exciting news that Paul Tudorovic would be returning to the club as an assistant coach for the Wes Davidson Real Estate Ballarat Miners in season 2010.

The club is very happy to regain the services of Tudorovic, Club President Nick Grylewicz stated “the club is thrilled to welcome Paul back into the Programme” adding “Paul is not
only a great coach with a proven winning record he is a outstanding teacher of the game. He will compliment Guy in the development of our programme next year. Paul’s signing is a vital step towards reaching our goals, his experience and stability are invaluable in helping the club move forward”.

Paul had taken a break over the past 3 years to concentrate on running his business the Athlete’s foot and while still having a busy work load is excited about getting back into the game “Basketball is one of my great loves, I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead. I have had a long association with the Miners and im looking to pick up where I left off in 2006 “. In his last season as Head coach Tudorovic lead the Miners to a minor premiership.

Tudorovic has a very impressive record of service to Ballarat Basketball spanning many years. In his earlier days he honed his skills under many famous Miners coaches including Brian Goorjian, Al Westover, Brendan Joyce, Paul Hotchin, Mark Leader and Ray Borner, he went on to be Head coach from 2004-6.

Current Head Coach Guy Molloy was very pleased to have Paul on board saying “Paul’s knowledge of the game and players around Ballarat will be of tremendous benefit to me. I will also miss 2-3 Miners games because of the Junior World Championship next July and it’s a relief I know I have a former Miners coach able to take the reins during those games”
