Minerdome Sports Club – Supporting Uniting Care’s BreezeWay Meals Program

The Minerdome Sports Club is pleased to support the Uniting Care Church meals program – BreezeWay.

BreezeWay provides a substantial, hot nutritional two course midday meal every day of the year for people who are marginalised, homeless, living in insecure accommodation and / or have no cooking facilities. It operates from 10.30am to 1.30pm each day and services approximately 60 meals daily or over 1,700 meals per month. Take-away meals are also provided which include sandwiches and fruit outside the lunchtime meal. The cafe style environment is also a place of shelter during the winter months.

The Minerdome Sports club prides itself with being a great supporter of our local community and with the assistance of Coca-Cola Amatil & Basketball Ballarat we are proud to have donated over $1,500.00 worth of beverages to the Uniting Care BreezeWay program.

To donate or to find out how to assist with the great work that Uniting Care provides contact the BreezeWay Coordinator on 5337 2721.
