Ford Aussie Hoops is our flagship introductory basketball program designed for children aged 4–11, providing a fun and safe environment to learn the game. Through engaging, beginner-friendly sessions, kids develop fundamental basketball skills, including ball handling, passing, shooting, defence, and footwork.
This program equips children with the essential skills and confidence needed to transition into our domestic basketball competition.

Total participation fee: $99.50
Participation fee breakdown:
- Ballarat Basketball Association: $89.00
- Basketball Victoria: $5.00
- Basketball Australia: $5.50

What Parents Say
Zach has had the most wonderful time at Basketball! He has tried a few sports over the last two years, but unfortunately, these have not gone so well, and the groups have not been that supportive. The coaches that Zach has had at Aussie Hoops on a Tuesday have been absolutely amazing! Zach loves it so much, he talks about it all the time. We are so grateful for these amazing guys who are so supportive of him, and the other participants too. It has made such a difference to us, and we are super happy we've found basketball now.

Refund Policy:
- If registration is withdrawn before the program commences, the entry fee minus Basketball Australia and Victoria's fees will be returned
- If registration is withdrawn at the end of week three ( 3 ), $10 for every remaining session will be refunded
- If registration is withdrawn after week three ( 3 ), no entry fee will be refunded
- *Aussie Hoops packs are not refundable through Ballarat Basketball. Please contact Basketball Australia if you require a refund for your pack
