Ballarat nets Fisher

The Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners are excited to announce  local Tristan Fisher has re-signed for the 2020 NBL1 South season. 

Fisher played his juniors for the Celtic Tigers before developing into representative teams and debuting for the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners in 2015. 

I’m happy to be playing with the Miners again in 2020; it’s going to be an exciting season with the new NBL North and South conferences. There’s going to be even more hype around the league than last year which is motivating for the team” Fisher said.  

Fisher is another player looking forward to playing in the Ballarat Sports Events Centre after playing locally his whole life and seeing the developments unfold.  

I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things, improving my game and learning from Brendan and my team mates. The new facilities are going to be great for us as players and the community.” Fisher ended with.  

Elite Teams Manager Glenn White was looking forward to having Fisher return in Ballarat colours for 2020 NBL

1 South Season.  

Tristan is yet another example of a local Ballarat athlete developing through the talent pathway programs so it will be exciting to see him on the court again this season” White said. 

The Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and Selkirk Ballarat Rush will play the Ringwood Hawks on Sunday 19th of April at the Rings in Ringwood.
