Basketball Ballarat invites applications from individuals who wish to be considered for the position of Director which will be elected at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
As a Director on the Ballarat Basketball Board, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our association. The responsibilities of a Board Director include:
Attend Board Meetings: Actively participate in monthly Board meetings or as required, contributing to the decision-making process and the strategic direction of the Association.
Lead Sub-committees: Convene or Chair a Sub-committee as needed, overseeing key areas such as:
- Competitions & Programs
- Finance
- Governance
- Senior Elite Team Program
- Representative Program – Juniors
- Minerdome Sports Club
- Technical Officials
Nominations must be in the hands of the Chief Executive Officer, Basketball Ballarat, via mail, e-mail or hand delivery by 4pm Wednesday April 2, 2025
Nominee, proposer and seconder must all be either an Ordinary Member, a Social Member, or Honorary Life Member of the BBA Inc.
PLEASE NOTE: (i) to be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting, a person must be either an Ordinary Member (a registered, financial member over 18 years) of the Association, a Social Member or an Honorary Life Member of the Association.
