Celebrate the Power of Volunteering

Ballarat Basketball would like to assist our Clubs in recognising that this theme is indeed true for all.

Over the next few weeks it is suggested that you assess the work done in various ways by your Club’s workers whether they be Coaches, Managers, Committee Members or Fund-raisers.

Following that audit send a list of your “Top 10” together with their achievements to matt.newton@ballaratbasketball.com by the end of National Volunteer Week on the 18^th of May.

Ballarat Basketball will prepare Certificates for each Club to present to their Awardees at a Club event of your choosing, and will invite those deserving volunteers to the Miners/Rush Home Game on Sunday June 15, as a show of public recognition for the great work undertaken by these volunteers.

In addition it will form a wonderful basis for re-activating the Club Service Awards at the Basketball Presentation Evening in August and may lead to one Club Volunteer being declared Ballarat Basketball’s Volunteer of the Year.
