Miners Rush supports McHappy Day
The McDonald’s Ballarat Miners Rush Youth League teams are supporting McHappy Day on Saturday as they help to raise the much needed funds for the sick children and their families at Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Last year McHappy Day raised an amazing $4.9m for Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia.
Annie Collins from the McDonald’s Ballarat Rush Youth team was looking forward to supporting the event on Saturday as a way to help such a worthy cause.
“McHappy Day raises funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities, ultimately helping to keep families together while their sick or injured child undergoes treatment so we can only imagine how much this helps the child and reduces the impact on the family during such a difficult time.” Collins said.
Collins will be joined by other teammates at McDonald’s Wendouree between 9 and 11am on Saturday assisting with fundraising activities and meeting many people from the Ballarat community.
“We are urging everyone to visit a local McDonald’s and donate what they can to support all the families in need” Collins finished with.
We are encouraging everyone to purchase some $5 silly socks with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the ill kids and their families at Ronald McDonald House.
