Ford Aussie Hoops is our flagship introductory basketball program designed for children aged 4–11, providing a fun and safe environment to learn the game. Through engaging, beginner-friendly sessions, kids develop fundamental basketball skills, including ball handling, passing, shooting, defence, and footwork.

This program equips children with the essential skills and confidence needed to transition into our domestic basketball competition.

Participant cost: $94.50

Player registration fee breakdown:

  • Ballarat Basketball Association: $85.00
  • Basketball Victoria: $5.00
  • Basketball Australia: $4.50

If you’d like to purchase a Ford Aussie Hoops participant pack, you can do so during the registration process. If you don’t buy one at that stage, you can still order it anytime from the Ford Aussie Hoops online store here.

Refund Policy:

  • If registration is withdrawn before the program commences, the entry fee minus Basketball Australia and Victoria's fees will be returned
  • If registration is withdrawn at the end of week three ( 3 ), $10 for every remaining session will be refunded
  • If registration is withdrawn after week three ( 3 ), no entry fee will be refunded
  • *Aussie Hoops packs are not refundable through Ballarat Basketball. Please contact Basketball Australia if you require a refund for your pack
