Ballarat Basketball is proud to announce the early renewal of its long-standing partnership with Sixt Ballarat, with local franchisee Andrew Overall committing to a further three years, extending the major partnership through to the end of 2029.
Already signed through to the conclusion of 2026, this early extension highlights the mutual respect and strength of a partnership that will now span over 20 years, making Sixt Ballarat one of the most enduring corporate supporters of basketball in the region.
Sixt Ballarat is proud to have secured the extension of our existing sponsorship with Ballarat Basketball until the end of 2029. We have been connected with Ballarat Basketball for over 20 years, starting with the junior program to now covering all grades of the Miners’ program. In that time, we have seen junior players become WNBL & NBL players and reach their dreams, said Andrew Overall, Franchisee of Sixt Ballarat.
I believe that today’s juniors are tomorrow’s stars, and if we have in any way throughout the journey been a help, that is satisfying in itself. The Miners program is recognized for excellence the same as l would like to think we also operate in our area as well, we are proud to have such an alliance with Ballarat Basketball.
The renewed agreement will see Sixt Ballarat maintain its position as a major partner across both the NBL1 and junior pathways, including branding across uniforms, game nights, and community engagement initiatives.
