Basketball Ballarat are excited to announce the new partnership with Stockland Wendouree.

 

The partnership will see Stockland Wendouree join as its official Member Partner for the upcoming Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and Selkirk Ballarat Rush NBL1 season.

 

Basketball Ballarat Partnerships Manager, Andrew Day was thrilled to partner with an iconic brand in their industry.

“We are thrilled to be entering into a partnership with Stockland Wendouree and are looking forward to working closely with their team by engaging both our members and supporters within our community,” Day said.

 

Stockland Wendouree have continued to be active in the local community and Centre Manager Stevie Wright expressed how excited the centre management team was about the announcement today.

 

“Stockland is very excited to be partnering with Ballarat Basketball for the 2020 NBL1 season. This is an opportunity to support junior and senior sport in our local community,” Wright said.

Stockland Wendouree is located within close proximity of the new Ballarat Sports Events Centre (B.SEC) both having access from Norman Street.

“The opening of the new centre creates opportunity for our communities to attend a vast range of sporting and recreational events in a world class facility. Stage 2 of the development will provide even more opportunities for locals to participate in casual and organised activities, especially with the external half courts.”

 

“Due the proximity of Stockland Wendouree, we are able to provide visitors to B.SEC with a place to visit for respite and fun and we are pleased to offer a huge range of shopping, services and dining experiences nearby,” Wright said.

 

Memberships for the 2020 NBL1 Season will go on sale in the new year with the first game commencing the week after Easter.
