Wynne another local returning home to Ballarat

The Selkirk Ballarat Rush are thrilled to announce the signing of Taylah Wynne who will join the team for NBL1 2020.

Wynne has represented Vic Country as a junior as well as previously playing 43 games for the Selkirk Ballarat Rush in the SEABL over 2017 and 2018 seasons before taking a break from Basketball in 2019.

Wynne is looking forward to returning to Ballarat in NBL1 2020.

“Extremely excited, feeling fresh and ready to go after taking some time off” Wynne said.

Taylah Wynne played juniors for the local Ballarat Celtic Tigers Basketball Club but was looking forward to playing in the new Ballarat Sports Events Centre.

“I am looking forward to re-joining with the girls and playing in the new stadium in front of Ballarat fans.” Wynne ended with.

Elite Teams Manager Glenn White said the addition of Wynne to the girls program was another positive step in retaining local talent in the Elite Teams Programs.

“Taylah is another example of our talent pathways playing through from domestic level here in Ballarat and having her come back to play in the NBL1 next year is another great recruit for the Selkirk Ballarat Rush.” White said.

Wynne will join the Selkirk Ballarat Rush Roster after the recent announcements of Chanise Jenkins, Kristy Rinaldi and Claire Constable for NBL1 2020.
