Under 12.1 Girls – Tam Westwood
“I am looking forward to a really enjoyable season with the Ballarat u12 girls’ teams. Our focus for the season will be to improve the players’ skill fundamentals while enjoying the sport of basketball. Player retention for future years will also be a high priority for the coaching team.”

Under 16.1 Boys – Chris Thornton
“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to Head Coach the U16 Boys Miners program again for season 2023/24, which will be my 12th season with the representative program. The group boasts a lot of exciting talent from both the U14s that are coming up as well as the U16s who’ll remain in the program for their top age year and will be able to continue on with the successful style of play that we’ve implemented this past year in the 16s program together already”
Under 16.1 Girls – Glenn White
“I look forward to coaching this age group and to be back involved with the VJBL will bring its challenges for me after 4 years of involvement in the 12 Girls age group. My aim is to bring the teams together and work as one throughout the season to help develop all players that are selected.”
Under 18.1 Boys – Joel Anderson
“I am thankful for the opportunity to coach the u/18 boys and look forward to working with a talented group of young athletes in helping them grow and develop this year and into the senior pathway.”
Under 18.1 Girls – Brad Dennis
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead the 18.1 girls team this season. After many not having had the opportunity to play their bottom age year last season, it will be great to have them on the court and rearing to go. It is a privilege to join the Ballarat basketball family.”
