GMHBA Ballarat Miner Ken Horton had a phenomenal weekend to win the award for the second time, averaging 26 points and 17 rebounds in two games, but his efforts against Knox made him a clear standout for Player of the Week.

Horton posted 40 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and three steals to lead the Miners to a 40-point victory over the Raiders at the MARS® MINERDOME.

Horton leads the league in rebounds per game with 13.4, with his closest competitor grabbing 11.9 per game. Horton also sits in fourth place league-wide for three-pointers made for the season, with 43.

In just his first season for the Miners, Ken is a proven, consistent leader averaging 20.8 points at 50%, and 37% from the three-point line, with 13.4 rebounds per game.
