The McDonald’s Ballarat Youth League Rush had a great outing against Bulleen on Sunday taking a 126 to 50 victory at the MARS Minerdome.
Head coach of the Rush Youth Kristy Trahair-Merrett praised her players for a strong start on Sunday ending with 36 assists and 75 rebounds which in itself is a great stat.
“Our starting 5 came out and gave us an incredible beginning, they ran the floor well and pressured Bulleen into many turnovers which we scored off.” Trahair-Merrett said.
The Rush were able to give minutes to everyone and get all 12 players to score which was a notable achievement on the day.
“We managed to get all 12 players on and they all scored, it was a good time to get minutes into all players as it doesn’t always happen, we need to keep pushing and doing the little things.” Trahair-Merrett said.
