Chanise was grateful of the support from a community minded organisation. “It’s great to be partnering here with, caring for adults with disabilities and helping the community but excited to have them come along to a few games this season.” Chanise said.

‘My older sister Chavonne is also deaf so it’s refreshing to see others here caring about the community & disability community’ Chanise ended with.

Sara from Next Step Disability Services was looking forward to the opportunities with Basketball Ballarat.

“We are really excited to partner with Basketball Ballarat, it’s so important for people with disabilities to have access to activities in an exclusive safe space & something Ballarat desperately needs” Sara said.

It is great to have Next Step Disability Services supporting Basketball Ballarat into the future as we all grow in the community together.
