2015 McDonalds Junior Tournament Results

44th McDonalds Ballarat Junior Basketball Tournament

Ballarat was treated to another action-packed weekend of 650 Junior Basketball games when the annual McDonalds Junior Basketball Tournament was played in the city for the 44th consecutive year.  271 teams from across the State played off in 39 divisions from U/12 to U/18 for a chance to claim a trophy.

The spirit of sportsmanship was evident in many of the Grand Finals even as close games and overtime brought pressure on the teams.

Ballarat representative teams made it through to 3 Grand Finals and scored wins in the top end with the U/16 and U/18 Girls  and in C1 Girls with the Ballarat Gold team.

Teams from the region such as Castlemaine, Ararat and Maryborough did very well in a number of C Grade divisions and each scored at least one victory.

At the sharp end of the competition in A Grade, Werribee, Geelong, Altona, Sunbury and Collingwood all had very successful tournaments.
