The Ballarat Miners are excited to announce the signing of American import Camille Hobby for the 2026 Mitsubishi NBL1 South season.
Hobby joins the Miners following a standout 2025 NBL1 South season with the Ringwood Hawks, where she established herself as a dominant force in her first NBL1 season, averaging 16.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while controlling the paint and providing a consistent scoring presence.
Hobby also brings valuable international experience, having played professionally in Greece, where she delivered many strong performances, averaging 18 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block per game.
Before beginning her professional career, Hobby played collegiate basketball at NC State Wolfpack women’s basketball and Illinois Fighting Illini women’s basketball, developing into a reliable contributor across her college career.
