The Ballarat Miners are excited to announce the signing of Hsi-Yeh Liu for the remainder of the 2026 NBL1 South season.
Liu arrives in Ballarat with an outstanding basketball resume, bringing more than a decade of professional and international experience to the Miners program. Across her career, Liu has competed in Taiwan, China and Malaysia, while also representing Chinese Taipei on the international stage at some of the world’s premier basketball events.
A proven scorer and experienced leader, Liu is a former WSBL Scoring Champion and Best Five selection. She also reached the milestone of 1,000 career points during her time in Taiwan’s WSBL competition.
Internationally, Liu has represented Chinese Taipei at the FIBA Asia Cup, Asian Games, Women’s 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, FIBA 3×3 World Cup Qualifiers and more. Her experience across both traditional and 3×3 basketball adds further depth, versatility and leadership to the Miners roster heading into the second half of the season.
