The Ballarat Basketball Association has appointed a new-look Board of Management, bringing together a wealth of experience and expertise to help shape the future of basketball across the region.
Fiona Cummins was unanimously re-elected as Chair of the Board, with Matthew Richardson continuing in the role of Treasurer and Matthew Reynolds remaining as Junior Representative Director.
Joining the Board are Nicole Roberts as Vice-Chair and People and Culture Director, Ben Halsall as Director of Community Programs and Competitions, Kyle Slack as Director of Senior Elite Teams, Craig Ness as Director of Strategic Planning, and Josh Morris and Sean Duffy, who will focus on commercial opportunities and Minerdome operations.
Chair Fiona Cummins said she was excited by the calibre of experience and enthusiasm the new directors would bring to the Association.
“These new Board directors bring significant governance expertise and institutional knowledge, which will help support Ballarat Basketball to reach new heights,” Ms Cummins said.
“As a new Board, we are currently developing an updated three-year strategic plan that will guide the organisation’s future direction. We want to provide an even better service to our members and athletes, create clear pathways for player development, strengthen our elite programs, and further enhance our inclusion initiatives.”

The newly appointed Board is committed to ensuring Ballarat Basketball continues to grow as a leading sporting organisation, delivering strong community outcomes while fostering participation and excellence at all levels of the game.
