Central Highlands Water Ballarat Miners & Rush Youth League (U23) teams tip off this weekend in Round 1 of the 2020 Big V Youth League Championship when they travel away to take on Dandenong.
Men’s Head Coach Ryan McKew said that Dandenong are a solid team and a well-organised program.
“They have been competitive in the Youth League state championships for a few years now so it will be a real challenge for our Miners.” McKew said.
“However, the coaching staff is confident that we have prepared well and hopefully we can start the season off on the right note.” McKew said.
For the Women it will be a great challenge as they take on the reigning champions in Dandenong who will be lead by the recent announcement of Rob Baker as Head Coach. The Rush athletes have continued to work hard over the pre-season and together with a strong group of girls are looking forward to start the season off on the right foot this weekend.
