Not one of the 11 Thrifty Junior Miners and Rush teams that played in the Victorian Junior Basketball League last Friday lost a game, in what is hoped to be a common occurrence in 2018.
The Thrifty Under 14 Miners playing in the AA competition were just seconds away from a loss but put on a thrilling spectacle for the Mars Minerdome crowd, fighting back with some clutch plays at both ends of the floor to come away with a draw.
