McKew supports Polished Man to help children affected by violence

Central Highlands Water Ballarat Miners Youth Head Co-Coach Ryan McKew is raising funds through Polished Man to support trauma prevention and trauma recovery programs for children who are at risk of, or who have suffered violence.

McKew said he was very passionate about supporting the program and wanted to create awareness of the initiative through fundraising and painting a nail.

“I have worked with a number of at risk youth and have sadly been involved with many youth that have experienced violence as a child”

According to Polished Man last year one billion children had experienced violence in the last year alone that’s half the world’s children.

“Painted nails that spark conversations and conversations that inspire donations so I believe that no child should have to miss out on their childhood due to violence.” McKew ended with.
