Split evening for Thrifty Junior Miners and Rush

Across their 10 Victorian Junior  Basketball League games, Thrifty Junior Miners and Rush teams won five outings.

The Under 14 Rush had the biggest win of the night, dominating Sunbury to take a 56-25 win in the Victorian Championship.

Meanwhile the Under 14 Miners were in a nail biter with Whittlesea, claiming a 31-30 win in the Regional division, and similarly the Under 16 Rush defeated Frankston 53-51 in a close Victorian Championship outing.

Next Friday night it’s a full card of Victorian Junior basketball League games at the Mars Minerdome, with six Thrifty Junior Miners and Rush teams taking the court.
